Linda Zintl, BSN, RN, CDE

Linda has been a Certified Diabetes Educator for over 20 years. Her commitment to improving diabetes care dates back to the 1980s when she held the position of Community Health Program Coordinator for Franklin General Hospital. Responsible for health promotion outreach programs, she obtained a grant to enable the hospital to offer its first outpatient diabetes education program.
She subsequently worked with two large endocrinology practices, in nationally recognized American Diabetes Association Diabetes Education Programs, and has had her own private practice.
Recently, Linda was the Research Director at the Diabetes Care and Information Center in Flushing, New York where she supervised the conduct of Phase II, III and IV diabetes-related clinical trials. Presently, she is working as a diabetes nurse specialist at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY.
Over the past two decades, she has presented to both lay and professional audiences on a variety of diabetes related subjects.
